# What is a Coneday?

## In the world of Lapland, Elves come from pinecones!

When a new elflet is ready to be born, Eeko the mystical elf of The Glade, gathers the pinecone from the magical Tree of Life, wraps them in her moss blanket to keep them warm, and whispers her special rhyme;

“Little elf grow from this cone,

This shall be your happy home!”

And a new Elflet emerges the next morning.

Therefore, birthdays in the Elven World are called Conedays!

If a member of your family/booking group is visiting on their Birthday/ Coneday, we will gladly arrange for a Coneday Badge for them to wear throughout the experience.

Please get in touch by using this [Contact Form,](https://kb.laplanduk.co.uk/knowledge/kb-tickets/new?hsLang=en) and we will add a note to your booking.

Sage, keeper of the key to the Elven Doorway, may ask if there are any Conedays in the Glade, so make sure to let him know!
