Where is LaplandUK?

Our Ascot Experience is based in the beautiful Whitmoor Forest, part of the Crown Estate near Ascot. Our Manchester Experience is based on the grounds of the stunning Capesthorne Hall, in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

For most of the year, Whitmoor Forest is a popular walking destination managed by the Crown Estate. However, come November, the Elves reveal their magical pathways to welcome Humanfolk visitors!

 We are approximately a 15-minute drive from Macclesfield town centre. 
 

Directions by Road:

  • Located 15 miles south of Manchester via the A34, just past the A537 (Knutsford to Macclesfield Road).

  • 30 miles east of Chester – from the A537, turn right onto the A34.

  • 20 miles north of Stoke-on-Trent, accessible via the A34.

Directions by Rail:

  • Macclesfield Station – Located 5 miles away, with direct trains from London Euston taking approximately 2 hours.

  • Wilmslow Station – Also 5 miles away; express services to London Euston take around 2 hours and 5 minutes.

  • Crewe Station – 15 miles away, offering extensive national rail connections.

  • Regular services run from Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield, with journey times between 20 and 35 minutes.
