Can we go ice skating in Lapland?
Father Christmas' Frozen Pond is located in the heart of the Elven Village, where you will have the opportunity to ice-skate.
You are invited to explore and enjoy the Elven Village for up to 90 minutes, in which you will be given the opportunity to ice-skate and you do not need to pre-book to enjoy this activity.
We provide ice skates in most sizes and attachable blades for infants. The largest size ice skates we have available is adults size 14.
Penguin aids for smaller children are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own skates, however, please note that we do not have lockers or luggage storage available for guests, so you will need to carry any personal items, including your skates, throughout the experience.
Wheelchair users are of course welcome on the ice and must be accompanied by a confident skater in your group. Motorised wheelchairs must be switched off when on the ice.
Please note: all children up to the age of 12 years must be accompanied on the ice by a participating adult (aged 18 or over) at all times.
Please bring a spare pair of socks in case your feet get wet when changing your shoes and ice skating boots. Guests will not be able to enter the Frozen Pond without skates.
