What is the Lapland Experience?
The Lapland Experience is a carefully curated immersive experience honouring childhood at Christmas.
The Lapland adventure begins when your Small Folk receive a personalised invitation from Father Christmas, who has specially chosen them to help the Elves with their toy-making this Christmas.
Your visit to Lapland is a 4.5 hour journey along the magical pathways of the Elven World. The first 90 minutes is an immersive theatrical scripted performance which takes place in the Whispering Woods, The Lapland Toy Factory and The Lapland Bakery. Each family will have their own seating and each Small Folk a dedicated
workbench to take part in the The Lapland Toy Factory and The Lapland Bakery activities.
Next, your family are invited to explore the Elven Village for up to 90 minutes. Small Folk can post letters to Father Christmas at Elva’s Post Office, ice-skate on the Frozen Pond, or enjoy a treat at Pumpernickel’s Restaurant or Pixie Mixie’s Sweetshop and much more!
The time on the back of your Elf passport is your guide to continue your journey, past The Reindeer Stables and Father Christmas’ sleigh, to the highlight of the visit: meeting Father Christmas in his Snowy Cabin. Your Small Folk will delight in receiving a Golden Bell to become an “Honorary Elf,” and each Small Folk is gifted a beautiful Husky toy to treasure as a keepsake of their magical visit.
Please note: you’ll journey through Lapland on a one-way pathway, and it is not possible to move backwards, or return to any areas of the Experience.
As the day comes to an end, Big Folk collect the family keepsake photograph and are discreetly handed a bag containing the toy your Small Folk made in the Lapland Toy Factory, to go with a personalised postcard from Father Christmas thanking them for their splendid help, allowing the magic to continue all the way to Christmas morning when the Toy Factory toy is left waiting for them.
